comprising an eighteen-plate russet-lacquered iron sujibachi (ridged bowl) with tehen-kanamono (fitting in the top of the bowl) and a single shinodare; five-tier Hineno-jikoro (close-fitting neck-guard); russet-lacquered iron mask with gilt teeth: russet-laced kosode (small sholder guards); do (cuirass) of russet-lacquered iron horizontal plates in two pieces with matching gyoyo (strap-protectors); black-lacquered iron Oda-gote (sleeves) and kada-haidate (thigh guards); russet iron Shino-suneate (shin-guards); contained in a lacquered wicker armour box, 19th Century (old damages and wear).
