A Chinese bronze tripod censer
with upright handles decorated with taotie masks and archaic motifs on a geometric patterned ground above a band of lappets, the column supports similarly decorated, wooden pierced cover and stand carved with bats and ruyi-heads -- 12in. (31cm.) high, 17th/18th Century, (old rubbing and wear).
