A pair of Japanese bronze urns
adapted to lamps, of baluster shape on stepped bases, inlaid in gold, silver and copper with shaped panels of monkeys clambering on fruiting branches and birds amongst flowering branches, the stepped bases decorated with bamboo, fruiting and flower sprays, on wood stands -- 133/8in. (34cm.) high, 19th Century, (dents and losses to inlay).
