The associated moulded rectangular cornice with acanthus leaf carving and reeded base above a pair of cluster columns capped with acanthus leaf capitals joined by square rails and on stepped square feet with hidden castors, with four brass bolt-hole covers, with two later Victorian square backposts with hooks to the sides, flanking an upholstered deep buttoned headrest with bolts and floral cotton pelmet and back curtain, restorations, the supports variously inscribed with Roman numerals, and with a boxspring mattress, previously with slats
