A Chinese blue and white quatrefoil ewer and cover
painted with roundels densely covered in flower and fruit sprays, a geometric pattern around the foot and rim with a stylised dragon handle -- 10¼in. (26cm.) high, 18th Century, (restoration to the spout and neck); a blue and white kendi, freely painted with panels of flower sprays and scrolling waves -- 7¼in. (18½cm.) high, 17th Century, (some fritting, hairline cracks to the glaze); a blue and white crocus vase, for five flowers, densely painted with scrolling foliage and flowers -- 9½in. (24cm.) high, 19th Century; and a blue and white moonflask with stylised handles, decorated with a roundel containing a ferocious Buddistic lion within borders of flowers and scrolling leaves, the same to the reverse -- 10in. (25½cm.) high, four character underglaze blue mark to base, 19th Century.
