A REGENCY BRASS-INLAID AND ORMOLU-MOUNTED SECRETAIRE BOOKCASE
Inlaid overall with brass lines, the moulded rectangular top with a three-quarter pierced C-scroll and foliage gallery, above a pair of yellow pleated watered-silk panelled doors enclosing two rows each with an adjustable shelf, above a pair of mahogany-lined drawers and flanked by foliage-inlaid panels, the lower section with a fitted secretaire- drawer with seven variously sized small mahogany drawers and three pigeon-holes above a round suede writing-surface, the lock stamped 'J BRAMAH' below a crown '14 PICCADILLY', above a pair of panelled doors, enclosing a removable shelf and flanked by conforming panels, on bun feet, with sunk castors, restorations
