A Chinese armorial saucer
painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a central crest divided into six panels, surmounted by a griffin's head between two wings, bearing the motto 'Virtute et Amicitia' within a spearhead border -- 4¾in. (12cms) diam; a famille rose armorial saucer painted and gilt with a central crest bearing a fleur-de-lys and flowerhead within a shell and scrolling foliate border -- 6¼in. (16cms) diam, (section restuck); and a further armorial plate decorated in iron red and gilt with an eagle with outstretched wings before a shield -- 8in. (20.2cms) diam, all Qianlong.
