The rectangular triple plate divided by foliage-trailed cluster-columns and with foliate capitals surmounted by a central oval black and gold- painted panel depicting cherubs in a landscape, flanked by conforming panels with musical still lifes, all on a silver black and light-blue trellis ground, below a frieze decorated with roundels and a moulded cornice with an ebonised base, the ebonised base possibly later

The mirror's reeded columnettes with palm-wrapped Ionic columns relates to frames, including some with verre églomisé panels, manufactured in the early 19th Century by Thomas Fentham of the Strand (fl. 1794-1820) (C. Gilbert, Pictorial Dictionary of Marked London Furniture 1700-1840, Leeds, 1996, pp. 200-203, figs. 336-343).
