A French Neo-Grec ormolu and champleve enamel garniture

Comprising a clock and a pair of four-branch candelabra, each piece decorated with trailing foliage and anthemia, the clock surmounted by a twin-handled vase decorated inside and out, the sarcophagus-shaped case with anthemion-cast frieze above the enamelled dial, with twin-train movement, the angles each mounted with a bearded mask, on splayed legs and lion-paw feet, inscribed F. BARBEDIENNE to the top of the case, the candelabra of conforming design, each as a vase with central stem supporting four scrolled branches, on circular spreading base and lion-paw feet, each inscribed F. BARBEDIENNE to rim of the base and again to the underside
The clock: 15in. (38cm.) high; 12½in. (31.7cm.) wide; 6¾in. (17cm.) deep; The candelabra: 19½in. (49.6cm.) high (3)
