The fold-over parquetry top centred by a marquetry panel inlaid with playing cards, a shaker and die and a laurel-branch, the rounded front corners inlaid with a rosette, with laurel-cast edge, the reverse with baize-lined playing surface and similarly-inlaid corners, the panelled parquetry sides centred to the front by a projecting parquetry panel inlaid with an urn, scrolled acanthus and laurel festoons, the back with retractable legs enclosing a games recess, on tapering chandelle-inset fluted legs and engined-turned feet
