With heavy lightly belled barrel retaining some of its original blued finish (minor surface pitting), fitted with silver satyr-mask fore-sight, signed in a loop on the top flat of the breech, and engraved with a band of foliage at the rear, finely engraved tang with integral back-sight, signed engraved rounded lock, moulded figured walnut full stock carved in relief with a shell behind the barrel tang, finely engraved brass mounts, pierced side-plate involving a bird and a basket of flowers, floral escutcheon surmounted by a crescent, engraved trigger-guard with first pattern acorn finial, engraved brass ramrod-pipes, and original brass-capped ramrod with worm, London proof marks and Foreigner's mark
