With rebrowned twist barrels signed in two gold ovals at the breech and with single gold line and a band of engraved ornament at the rear, silver fore-sight, and gold-lined touch-holes, finely engraved grooved tang, flat bevelled locks each signed on a gold scroll and with engraved cock (one replaced) and stepped tail, roller, gold-lined pan, and some original blued finish on the internal working parts, figured walnut half-stock (minor bruising) stamped on the underside of the butt with the number '7754', chequered grip, engraved iron mounts with traces of original blued finish, including trigger-guard with pineapple finial balanced by another on the ramrod tail-pipe, and horn-tipped ramrod with worm, London proof marks
