With rebrowned twist barrels, silver fore-sight, case-hardened recessed patent breeches each with platinum-lined maker's stamp, two platinum lines, and platinum-lined touch-hole, finely engraved grooved tang, signed engraved case-hardened flat bevelled locks each with roller, stepped tail, and rainproof pan (right steel refaced and possibly a working replacement), figured walnut half-stock (minor bruising, repaired in front of the right lock), chequered grip, raised cheek-piece, finely engraved iron mounts, traces of original blued finish, silver escutcheon, and iron-tipped ramrod, the trigger-plate with pineapple finial (barrel-bolt chipped), London proof marks, the barrels forged by Charles Lancaster
