With browned twist sighted barrels each inscribed 'Dublin' in the sighting groove, engraved patent recessed sloping breeches each with two gold lines and platinum-lined touch-hole, engraved grooved tangs, signed engraved bevelled locks each with roller, safety-catch, and 'French' cock (one expertly replaced), figured walnut full stocks, chequered butts each with engraved hinged cover over two cavities for balls, silver escutcheons each engraved with owner's crest, engraved blued iron mounts, trigger-guards with pineapple finial, blued stirrup ramrods, small engraved silver pommels, and much original finish
