With rebrowned swamped octagonal barrels retained by a screw through the fore-end, signed on the flush-fitting rib, and with blade fore-sight, the rear of the breeches engraved with a band of beadwork, engraved grooved tangs each fitted with back-sight, signed bevelled locks each with safety-catch and stepped tail, figured walnut half-stocks, swelling flat-sided butts, reblued engraved iron trigger-guards each with acorn finial, faceted single ramrod-pipes, and brass-tipped ramrods, one with worm and powder-measure, London proof marks
