With slightly belled three-stage sighted barrels, the breech sections octagonal then polygonal, signed 'Segalas Londini' on the top flat and with stepped moulding at the rear, foliate engraved iron tangs, signed border engraved rounded locks, moulded figured walnut full stocks (minor cracks and chips) each with raised foliate apron at the barrel tang, and pronounced swelling near the ramrod tail-pipe, engraved brass mounts, spurred pommels each with grotesque mask cap, pierced foliate side-plates, foliate escutcheons each surmounted by a grotesque mask, brass trigger-plates, baluster ramrod-pipes, and later brass-capped ramrods (slight wear and pitting), London proof marks
