A Fine Cased Pair Of Flintlock Blunderbuss-Pistols

With belled two-stage brass barrels each with a ring at the muzzle, the breech section engraved 'Strand London' in script and with a raised moulded band at the front and rear, engraved iron tangs, signed flat bevelled locks each with stepped tail and engraved safety-catch (some minor pitting and discolouration), figured walnut full stocks (tip of one ramrod-channel cracked), engraved brass mounts, spurred pommels, trigger-guards each with flat acorn finial, and original horn-tipped ramrods, each with worm: in their lined and fitted oak case with accessories including two bullet moulds, the lid with trade label of Joseph Gulley, 254 Oxford Street, London, the exterior (minor chips) with flush-fitting carrying handle, London proof marks
