A SET OF SIX GEORGE III SILVER CANDLESTICKS WITH A PAIR OF SHEFFIELD-PLATED BRANCHES
Maker's mark of John Parsons & Co., Sheffield, 1793
Each on circular reeded base, rising to a knopped baluster stem chased with bat's-wing fluting, with similar everted socket and four removable circular nozzles, each base and nozzle engraved with a crest, each marked on base and nozzle; the Sheffield-plated three-light branches with similarly fluted sockets and four removable nozzles (also with one removable finial)
The candlesticks 11¾in. (30cm.) high; with branches 161/8in. (41cm.) high (8)
