the complete set of fourteen unsigned etchings, aquatints, woodcuts and lithographs, hors-texte, title page, text and justification, on BFK Rives, signed by the artists in pencil on one sheet (lacking the signatures of Dominguez and Wols as is usual with this set), an exemplaire de l'éditeur (apart from the edition of 150 numbered 1-130 and I-XX), the full sheets, loose (as issued), pale time staining, otherwise in excellent condition, original folded wove paper wrapper covered in glassine, original grey laid paper-covered cardboard cover stamped with title in black on the spine, grey laid paper-covered cardboard portfolio case. 266 x 223 mm. and--an additional unsigned lithographic poster by Max Ernst, The Sphinx (see M. & L. 22)--1939, on MBM France, with the printed title and a list of the participating artist's names, numbered 25/70, which wide margins, folded, in excellent condition.
