A PARCEL-GILT SHADED CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL CIGARETTE-CASE
marked with the Cyrillic initials of Fedor Rückert, Moscow, 1896-1908, with scratched inventory number 7192 (probably retailed by Fabergé)
Of rectangular form with rounded corners, both sides with stylized varicolored flowerheads on white ground in a green enamel frame embellished with silver dots within blue and dark green rim, marked inside cover

Lot Essay
The presence of the scratched inventory number shows that the above cigarette-case was probably retailed by Fabergé. It is known that Fedor Rückert worked almost exclusively for the Fabergé firm.
