Each blue enamel aperture over guilloché ground within laurel and acanthus leaf rims and set in a birchwood frame, attached to each other with reeded hinges with ball finials, each frame enclosing a photograph of Grand Duke Boris Vladimirovich in the uniform of His Majesty's Hussar guards, Guards Sapper and Dragoon Guards Regiments (re-enamelled)
