A GEORGE III SILVER-GILT TEAPOT**
Maker's mark of Thomas Whipham and Charles Wright, London, 1760
Of inverted pear shape, on spreading circular foot, the shoulder chased with floral garlands, the hinged cover with pinecone finial, the associated ivory handle formed as a mermaid, engraved with armorials and with a crest beneath a Baron's coronet, marked under base and cover
Length over handle 9¾in. (24.8cm.); 20oz. (623gr.) gross weight
