A Russian three-piece parcel gilt christening set
comprising a knife, fork and spoon, the spoon with rope-twist handle, the reverse of the bowl nielloed with an architectural study, the handles of the knife and fork nielloed with scrolled foliage, Ovchinnikov, Moscow 1873 -- length of spoon 15.5cms., cased; and a cased set of twelve silver gilt teaspoons, the reverse of the bowls nielloed with architectural studies, marks indistinct, late nineteenth century -- 11.5cms.
