A LATE MING BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' BRUSHREST
WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN A LINE AND OF THE PERIOD

Moulded in the form of three peaks, each peak entwined with a dragon resting its head on the crest, details freely painted in deep tones of cobalt-blue, all raised on a long narrow base with a shaped apron, the unglazed base with a countersunk panel containing the reign mark
6 in. (15.2 cm.) wide
