A FINE AND VERY RARE CELADON-GLAZED JAR
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The jar is formed with a gently compressed ovoid body, moulded with six studs above the angled shoulders, the short waisted neck ending with a broad open mouth, covered with a fine pale celadon glaze extending to the inside and base, the base bearing the reign mark written in archaic seal script
7 7/8 in. (20 cm.) high
