Of slightly compressed globular form, the bowl is attractively enamelled with cobalt blue shou symbols evenly interspersed among densely scrolling clouds in red, blue, yellow, green and white, all against a bright turquoise ground, the mouth rim cast with a raised band of gilt lotus lappets
