A SANG-DE-BOEUF PEAR-SHAPED VASE, YUHUCHUNPING
yongzheng six-character mark and of the period
Of characteristic globular shape resting on a slightly spreading foot and rising to a narrowly waisted neck below the flaring trumpet mouth, the exterior covered over all with an iron-red glaze ranging from a lightly-flecked liver colour at the neck to a full even red at the lower half and a thick greyish-red at the base, the neck restored
