The brushpot finely carved around the body with figures at leisure among rocks and trees; the screens carved on one side with a poetic inscription in a cursive hand, one decorated at the reverse with a bird on a tree branch, the other with figures in a courtyard, each set into ivory stands, age cracks and minor losses
