The articulated band set with four very delicate ivory panels, each pierced and finely carved with figures in a garden setting, alternating with elaborately crafted filigree panels of dragon or phoenix admist flora with gold floret borders, with the original fitted ivory box, with three carved panels depicting figures in a fenced garden (minor losses to ivory and gold filigree), circa 1860-1880, Guangdong workshops, bracelet 17.5 cm., box 21.5 cm.
