A Turkish silver gilt beaker
19th century
of cylindrical tapering form, incised profusely with trailing vines and foliage, with a shield shaped panel of calligraphy above a band of lappets -- 35/8in. (9.2cm.) high; and an Indian silver card-case, decorated in relief with a shaped monogram to the centre surrounded by flowers and scrolling foliage, the reverse with a boar being attacked by two foxes, surrounded by flowers and scrolling foliage -- 3½in. (8.9cm.) long, (old wear).
