An Egyptian brass Kursi in the Mamluk style19th Century
with extensive silver inlay, the hexagonal top with a radiating part open-work design involving panels of inscriptions and knotwork roundels around a central kufic roundel with gilt centre inscribed Muhammad, the six sides divided into panels of similar decoration, one side with a pair of hinged doors, arches below rising from turned feet -- 32in. (81.3cm.) diam, (minor damages and rubbing).
