Arabic manuscript on paper, 11ll. black naskh, gold roundels between phrases, gold margins between black rules, headings in white on gold cartouches in illuminated panels, opening bifolio with illuminated heading and gold clouds between the lines of text, four illuminated bifolios within text, ilustrations of Mecca and Medina, six bifolios of names in honeycomb lattice towards end, final folio signed by Muhammad known as ?Filibahuwi, a pupil of Sayyid 'Uthman known as Damad al-'Afif, maroon morocco binding with stamped gold medallion, spandrels and pendants - 14.8 x 10cm.; Qur'an excepts, with readings for each day of the week, 8ll. black naskh, gold roundels between verses, gold margin, headings in blue, illuminated heading panels at start, brown morocco binding with stamped medallion - 15.7 x 10.7cm.; and another manuscript, 23ll. black cursive, words and phrases in or overlined in red, headings in red in gold ruled panels, illuminated heading at start, maroon morocco binding with gold stamped medallion and spandrels, 18th century - 21.5 x 14cm.
