A Persian blue glazed deep bowl
13th Century
with flattened widely flaring rim and tapering sides, the interior carved below the rim with a band of ribbed motifs, the blue glaze falling short of the foot to the exterior to reveal the buff pottery -- 10½in. (26.7cm.) diam, (restored and with areas of irridescence).
