The gilt-silver case of rectangular outline and with black enamel, the cover centrally set with a circular jadeite plaque of apple green tone, pierced and carved with flowers and fruit, opening to reveal the powder compartment and a fitted mirror, joined to a black enamel lipstick holder by staple-links (mirror damaged, enamel losses, chain repaired), circa 1920, 8.2 cm. wide, with French assay marks
