A WHITE JADE FIGURE OF GUANYIN AND TWO JADEITE CARVINGS
The first, a white nephrite Guanyin, carved from an even white stone as the Goddess of Mercy, seated with one leg raised and holding a ruyi sceptre, 13.9 cm high; accompanied by two jadeite carvings, one depicting Shoulao with a boy holding a peach and a bat to one side, carved from a material of apple green colour, 7.8 cm. high; and a mottled apple green and lavender stone carved as Budai carrying a sack and holding an ingot in one hand, with a small boy to one side, 10.0 cm., wood stands and box (not illustrated)
