a dutch delft melon tureen, cover and a stand
Mid 18th century, the leaf marked for De Porceleyne Bijl
Painted in colours and naturalistically modelled in relief as a dark yellow circular melon, the cover en suite and applied with green leafy branches, enclosing flowers in blue, red and yellow, the stand shaped as a green leaf with dark nervature (chipped, repaired, one flower a later replacement)
the melon tureen circa 14cm wide and 14.5cm high, the leaf stand 19.5cm wide
