A biography by Gavin Strang, Christie's Glasgow. Peter Wylie Davidson 1870-1963, instructor for thirty-six years at the Glasgow Art School. Awarded a silver medal at the Aberdeen Exhibition of Industry and Art 1899 and exhibited at the Turin and Cork International Exhibitions 1902. Executed pieces to designs of Mackintosh, Jessie M. King and the Newberrys including the Fleming Casket for Mackintosh now in the Victoria & Albert museum.
