A PAIR OF ITALIAN ORMOLU CANDELABRA
Late 18th early 19th Century
Each with turned, spreading shaft with laurel band surmounted by a spreading nozzle with anthemion ring and detachable candelabra, the vase-shaped base surmounted by a lotus-leaf cast shaft issuing four scrolling foliate branches terminating in dished drip-pans with stiff-leaf rim and urn-shaped nozzle, the detachable dished drip-pan with conforming rim and centred by a foliate-cast baluster shaft with conforming drip-pans and nozzle, on a lotus-leaf base and spreading circular foot with laurel band and anthemion edge, one candle-branch loose
