The katana blade honzukuri, shallow koshi-zori, chugissaki, itame hada, with ji-nie, suguha hamon of ko-nie with chu-maru boshi, ubu nakago, 68.4cm.; the wakizashi blade honzukuri, torii-zori, chu-gissaki, itame-mokume hada, gunome hamon with midare-komi boshi, ubu nakago, 48.9cm.; in their black lacquer saya with matching shakudo-nanako fuchi-kashira with insects and foliage in high relief, gilt details, similar mokkogata tsuba, Mino Goto School, 18th Century, shakudo menuki of botan in silver and gilt, the katana with matching kogai and kozuka of shakudo-nanako with gilt clematis and foliage, the wakizashi with shakudo-nanako kozuka and kogai, the kozuka inlaid with millet, the wari-kogai with silver and gilt pine cones, 19th Century (2)
