The blade honzukuri, iorimune, chu-gissaki, with slight torii-zori, forging pattern itame, all other details obscured, (chips, rust), unremovable tang, 64.8cm.; encased in a nashiji lacquer scabbard decorated with six tomoe mon above a bar in gold hiramakie and foil, shakudo nanako handachi mounts en suite, all decorated with the same mon in gilt, (slight wear)
