The superstructure having a central tier with three-quarter pierced gallery flanked by lower galleried tiers, with central recessed mirror plate flanked by a pair of panelled doors centrally decorated with a pair of birds and a hunting trophy within a bellflower reserve, the case with a rectangular top centrally decorated with an urn issuing foliate sprays within a demi-lune reserve above a similarly decorated frieze drawer opening to a fitted interior with red velvet lined ratcheted writing surface and various wells, on square tapering legs ending in brass caps and casters
