Showing Kagesuye and Takatsuna on the bank of the flooded Ujigawa which they crossed in 1184 to confront Kiso Yoshinaka, who was in revolt against Yoritomo, Kagesuye's horse plunges into the torrent, as Takatsuna, the eventual winner in the race into battle on the opposite bank, towers above him on a rock
