Note: Webb states, "Misplaced overprints were also reported from Wei Hai Wei in the late twenties, when a sheet of 240 of the 4c. carmine rose was found. In the top row of the sheet the word CHINA has an upward slant, which becomes more evident towards the bottom of the sheet, and in the bottom row we find CHI on the adhesive and NA on the next."
