Flattened ball-shaped black composition box, inlaid overall with gold piqué point, the cover decorated with a diaper pattern centred with a piqué point and piqué posé rosette and bordered by piqué posé palmettes and scrolls, the sides and base decorated with a piqué posé scalework pattern furthermore encrusted with scrolling Rocaille in piqué point and piqué posé, the base centred with a rosette in the same technique, incorporated slightly raised wavy thumbpiece decorated with a scalework pattern
