Circular box of green lacquer on an engine-turned base, the independent cover inset with an oval enamel plaque depicting a girl bust-length in white shift with green lace cap in her brown hair, the lid with beaded gilt-metal mounts flanked by reeding, the other mounts reeded, the inside lined with flecked composition
