oval, 2¼ in. (58 mm.) high, silver-gilt frame, the reverse with the painted memorial composed of initial G with basket of flowers, quiver of arrows and torch of fire with plaque inscribed 'Andenken der Freund schaft' within seed pearl surround and painted ribbon and tie surmount
