Geneva, circa 1830/40, struck with inventory numbers 3 and 4
Two egg-cup shaped gold zarfi with scalloped rims and feet, the cups enamelled with tapering reserves painted with floral swags on salmon pink or turquoise blue grounds alternating with pierced reserves of scrolling gold filigree, green enamelled upper border and translucent red enamelled bases of the cups, each with taille d'épargne gold scrolls, echoed in the spreading feet, the pierced borders of the feet similarly enamelled in opaque white and green
