The ivory field with a bold honeycomb lattice formed of polychrome bands, each panel enclosing a stylised turtle-palmette, some also with occasional other motifs such as floral sprays and birds, in a blood-red border of angular rosettes linked by flowerheads flanked by similar part rosettes between charcoal-grey palmette and arabesque, shaded golden yellow floral meander and minor zigzag and barber-pole stripes, traces of glued backing, areas of wear in the field
