A pair of lacquer boxes and a pair of sake bottles
Late 18th/early 19th Century
The former, of nashiji ground, decorated in gold and silver hiramakie, kirigane and okibirame with tree peonies issuing from rocks, pewter rims, the interiors in hirame, (some old wear and slight damage); the latter, the body of simulated wood-ground, decorated in brown lacquer and kimpun with two gunpai and aoi mon in gold hiramakie, takamakie and hirame, (some old damage mainly to the rim)
