Signed Koma Koryu saku and kao, 18th Century
Decorated in gold, silver and iroe hiramakie, kimpun, nashiji, togidashi and small aogai inlays on a brown lacquer and scattered nashiji ground depicting seven sages in a bamboo grove, interior cases nashiji, with a wood netsuke of a boy writing a kokoro character, with signature Masanao and a metal ojime of flowers, signed Kazuhide, (slight wear, a crack to the netsuke)
